We submitted an entry this spring for the Esri Data Viz App Challenge that uses real-time, geo-enabled air quality sensor information from Valarm devices installed on the rooftops of Washington, D.C., city government vehicles! Click here to see the app challenge website where you can see the other entries and find demos + videos of all the entries. Although we didn’t win we’re honored to be a runner-up and be part of the challenge!
The interactive map we developed showed the real-time sensor data visualization power of Valarm + Esri ArcGIS solutions and you can read more about it and see the video here. The full source code using the Valarm APIs is available here and serves as a great demo for how easy it is to use remote Valarm sensor data in your monitoring applications in a variety of industries and applications like:
- Agriculture / Viticulture
- Water Level Monitoring for Natural Resources / Oil & Gas
- Water Flow and Water Usage Monitoring
- Remote Tank Monitoring in Real-Time
