water quality monitoring

Recent news out of Florida as reported by the Miami Herald:

The Legacy Florida Act requires the state to set aside 25 percent of Amendment 1 funds — up to $200 million a year — to fund Everglades restoration projects over the next 20 years. The bill has already passed the House and is expected to win easy passage in the Senate and be included in the Legislature’s final budget.

If the bill passes, up to $200 million will be spent on restoration projects, including $32 million to the South Florida Water Management District.

$100 million will go to planning, design, engineering, and construction of the restoration projects.  Read more about that here.

If your agency or firm is involved in any of these projects, Valarm’s remote water monitoring technology can help you significantly reduce costs, improve data accuracy and increase personnel safety.
