Lorenzo and Edward demonstrated Valarm’s real-time, ad-hoc mobile sensor networks at the Esri Geodesign Summit last week.
The conference covered architecture, planning, and design among other techniques and technologies involved in geodesigning various environments. At our booth we showed live Industrial IoT sensor data from Tools.Valarm.net integrated into ArcGIS.com for monitoring environmental factors like these:
- CO2
- VOCs (volatile organic compounds)
- Ambient Temperature
- Relative Humidity
- Barometric Pressure
- Light Lumens or Lux
There was quality traffic at our booth from folks from countries around the world with a wide variety of interests. One common theme at the Geodesign conference was indoor air quality (IAQ) for old and new buildings. IAQ is addressed by Tools.Valarm.net’s support of any air quality sensors, like CO2, VOCs, and additional gas sensors using the 4-20 mA sensor adapter.
Your 4-20 mA sensor adapters are also applicable for noise, dust, and vibration monitoring.
At the Geodesign conference, we also discussed using Industrial IoT sensors for Smart Water monitoring, which our customers monitor on Tools.Valarm.net for things like:
In the screenshot you’re seeing near real-time Industrial IoT sensor measurements integrated with GeoRSS and ArcGIS.com for monitoring weather factors, water, and air quality.
Next we’ll be at the Esri Federal GIS Conference helping smarten up the government.
