It’s been a great summer for monitoring systems and Industrial IoT sensors connected to Tools.Valarm.net. We’ve seen a wonderful amount of interest at our booth at the Esri International User Conference.
With our customers we’ve seen that remote environmental monitoring of water wells, flood warning systems, Smart Water flow meters, water levels + usage, gases plus outdoor and indoor air quality (IAQ) makes for excellent, affordable applications of Valarm.
More and more, Tools.Valarm.net is being used for mobile data acquisition using any sensor from Shop.Valarm.net, e.g., like Industrial IoT water and other environmental sensors.
There’s also been a growth in using Tools.Valarm.net for specialized tracking with additional sensor information such as cold chain tracking, snowplows, refuse trucks, and other municipal vehicles.
Have a gander at our Web Dashboards and Customer Success Stories to see how Industrial IoT sensors with Tools.Valarm.net help business, government agencies, and other organizations like yours to save your time, money, and lives.

Valarm Pro and Valarm Classic have been updated in the Google Play store. Valarm Pro is now at version 1.2.1 and Classic at version 1.0.3.

Screenshot of Valarm Pro v1.2.1 with custom configuration of SMS/text and email alerts that lets you select specific sensors/thresholds to trigger SMS or email alerts.
The major new feature in this version is the addition of a custom, detailed configuration for SMS/text and email triggers. This feature allows you to select which sensors/thresholds trigger these outputs. For example, if you are monitoring a remote environment’s temperature and humidity at regular 5 minute intervals then you can choose to receive texts or emails only when temperature has gone above or below your selected threshold. This means you won’t get an SMS or email on each of the 5-minute interval triggers, however the interval trigger will still cause all your sensor values to be uploaded to Valarm Tools on the web so you can map, graph, download, analyze, slice and dice your data.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us (Info@Valarm.net) if you have any questions or comments.
