Industrial Internet of Things Workshops?
You’ll see in the video above. We put on an Industrial IoT Workshop in Spain, Europe, at a local university.
Outreach and education for schools and students is important for us at Valarm. Edward has been a student and teacher at schools around the world so we’re fortunate to have plenty of opportunities for educational outreach.
In the video you’ll see a workshop that was part of a week of conferences, career advice panels, and an IoT workshop at Universitat Jaume I in Castellón, Valencia, Spain. These international events had students and participants from over 20 countries around the world.

You’ll learn in the video that this Tools.Valarm.net Industrial IoT Workshop covered Internet of Things applications for sensors and devices.
Specifically we went over details on how IIoT and Tools.Valarm.net is used for monitoring fleet vehicles, trucks, trailers, industrial equipment, motors, generators, pumps, water resources management, flowmeters, groundwater, and –
Air Quality Monitoring with sensors for:
- Particulate Matter, Dust, PM1, PM2.5, PM10
- Gases like CO2 / Carbon Dioxide, O3 / Ozone, NO2 / Nitrogen Dioxide, NO / Nitric Oxide, SO2 / Sulfur Dioxide, NH3 / Ammonia, ETO / Ethylene Oxide, PH3 / Phosphine, CO / Carbon Monoxide, CH4 / Methane, HCl / Hydrogen Chloride, Cl2 / Chlorine, and H2S / Hydrogen Sulfide

Howdy! This is Edward from Valarm.
You’ll learn about Tools.Valarm.net in this video and what we recently taught in an Industrial IoT workshop at a university in Spain. The students in this workshop are from over 20 countries around the world, ranging from Ethiopia and Egypt in Africa, to Colombia and Latin America, to Indonesia and Korea in Asia. The majority of the people in the class are in a Masters in Geographic Information Systems, a.k.a. GIS, program.
The students learned all about Industrial Internet of Things sensors, devices, and real world applications. We covered key advantages that Industrial IoT has in monitoring air quality, water, and fleet vehicles with industrial equipment like pumps, vacuums, and tanks.
Since these remote monitoring units are rapidly deployable, it didn’t take long to learn. We started with the How To Use Tools.Valarm.net video tutorial on www.Valarm.net.
With our IoT devices connected to Tools.Valarm.net, the students further understood, hands-on, the power of remote monitoring and sensor telemetry in all industries, especially environmental monitoring, water, air quality, and industrial assets and equipment.
