Transportation Research

Collect and analyze travel behavior data, track vehicles, analyze, and optimize their efficiency.

Valarm is a powerful transportation data collection tool that gathers location data in real-time at any regular interval in addition to irregular, contextual intervals triggered by an event “alarm.” For example, event alarms can be triggered every time a study subject starts, stops, reaches a certain velocity, stops at a gas station, or when they pass through a certain intersection. Event alarms can also trigger secondary data collection methods such as a pop-up questionnaire on the mobile device that asks certain questions about a specific location, route, or speed. These locations and associated data are then stored in the cloud database to be further analyzed.
